CBS Outdoor

Vertigo Digital Displays worked with CBS Outdoor on a project to install and test high brightness digital signage above subway entrances on sample sites within Manhattan.

Displays were 46" diagonal, double sided in Landscape format, with both static and dynamic content running 24/7.

Displays were installed during 2009/2010.

PLACARD VP49, VP55 & VP65

The 1600nit optically bonded test product was highly innovative for the time, using a liquid cooled LED illuminated backlight, with radiators and forced air cooling to dissipate heat from within the system.

Praevar PLACARD VP series product is today's latest derivative of this architectural solution, using multiple heat-pipes to draw heat from inside the IP65 sealed enclosure.
